## Synopsis

To Your Eternity (2021-2026) is a Japanese animated fantasy series adapted from a manga, produced for NHK and broadcast on NHK G and NHK Educational TV, and presented as a three-season anime run with 62 episodes. It follows Fushi (voice of Reiji Kawashima), an immortal being who takes the form of a human boy and wanders the earth, absorbing the pains and joys of the people and creatures he meets. Fushi's shifting form and the bonds he forms along the way give each episode its engine: he wants to understand what it means to live and to be human, while the cost of every attachment and transformation keeps pulling him back into loss. Principal voice cast includes Kenjiro Tsuda as The Beholder, Eri Inagawa as Tonari, and Rie Hikisaka as March, anchoring a long, episodic chain of self-contained encounters that accumulate into a single unbroken story. The tone is contemplative and melancholic, with tender sincerity and quiet philosophical reflection on mortality, suffering, friendship, and sacrifice. Its fluid animation and rich, saturated scenery give the slow-paced episodes a painterly calm. Fans of Mushishi, Violet Evergarden and Made in Abyss will find resonance in its gentle melancholy and meditative wonder.
