## Synopsis

Stolen Away (2020) is a Spanish thriller drama series created by Natxo López for Antena 3. Searching for his kidnapped daughter, Antonio (Daniel Grao) makes a desperate choice: he maneuvers to be sent to prison in Colombia, setting a chain of events in motion that touches scores of people around him. The engine of the series is a father's single-minded pursuit against institutions, criminal networks and the shifting loyalties of everyone he encounters, with the prison serving as a pressure cooker where alliances form and break. Principal characters include Cruz (Juan Carlos Messier), Soledad (Verónica Velásquez), Eva (Melani Olivares) and Milena (Ana María Orozco), whose storylines intersect as secrets surface. Told across eleven fifty-minute episodes in a single continuing arc, the series unfolds as one limited serialized story rather than a case-of-the-week format. The mood is tense and psychologically driven, with a bleak, anguished register and a steady dread that builds episode by episode. Fans of The Night Of, Prison Break and Money Heist will find resonance in its mix of prison drama, moral compromise and sprawling interlocking lives.
