## Synopsis

Extreme Animals: One Wild Day (2020) is a British-American nature documentary miniseries broadcast on Sky Nature, a three-episode natural history program of roughly forty minutes per installment. Rather than a single species study, it follows an array of remarkable creatures through a full twenty-four hour cycle, tracking how each animal adjusts its hunting, feeding, sheltering and movement as light and temperature change from dawn to dusk to night. The engine is simple and concrete: each segment asks what a particular animal must do at a particular hour to eat, avoid predators or raise its young, and the answers are revealed through patient, close observation of ordinary and extraordinary behaviour. Its shape is that of a compact limited series, with the day itself serving as the unifying clock that links one episode to the next. The register is awe-filled and wondrous, with a modern, polished look that foregrounds vivid landscapes and striking animal close-ups. Fans of Planet Earth II, Blue Planet II and Dynasties will find the same blend of spectacle and natural curiosity, presented in a warm and accessible way suited to family viewing and anyone who loves wildlife filmmaking.
