## Synopsis

Monster Girl Doctor (2020) is a Japanese animated fantasy comedy series created for TOKYO MX and KBS Kyoto, adapted from a light novel and produced by ARVO ANIMATION. Across a single twelve-episode season, the composed physician Dr. Glenn (Shunichi Toki) runs a clinic in the town of Lindworm, where humans and monsters live side by side, with his lamia assistant Sapphee (Saori Onishi) at his side. Each episode is built from a new patient case, from a centaur hurt in battle to a mermaid with an injured fin and a flesh golem with delicate wounds, and the show's engine is the steady, earnest routine of treating them with care and professionalism. Other voices such as Tisalia Scythia (Sarah Emi Bridcutt) and Arahnia Taranterra Arachnida (Yu Shimamura) fill out the clinic's world. The tone is light, warm and gently romantic, with fanservice and flirtation sitting alongside the medical procedures. A stranger's attempt to steal a harpy egg adds a brief note of menace to an otherwise cozy, episodic series. Fans of Interspecies Reviewers and Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? will find the same blend of fantasy comedy and romantic warmth here.
