## Synopsis

RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race (2020-2022) is an American reality competition spin-off from World of Wonder, created by RuPaul, Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato for VH1. Emmy winning host RuPaul presides over a lineup of famous people who arrive in full drag, their true identities hidden until the reveal, as they try to impress him and the judging panel of Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley and Ross Mathews. The engine is simple and brutal: each week contestants must lip sync for their lives, and the weakest performance sends someone home, while the mentoring trio of Monét X Change, Jujubee and Brooke Lynn Hytes coaches the remaining queens through challenges. The format runs across two seasons of comedic, glamorous, campy episodes that build playful suspense around who is hiding behind each persona. Each episode is built around makeovers, runway looks and high stakes performances, giving the show a breezy, joyful, theatrical register. Its lineage comes from the parent franchise RuPaul's Drag Race, and fans of that show, The Masked Singer and Celebrity Big Brother will find the same mix of disguise, elimination and celebrity spectacle. The series ended after its second season and is a light, camp-forward entertainment program.
