## Synopsis

Angel of Death (Szadź) is a Polish crime drama series created for TVN and aired on Player and Max between 2020 and 2024. Across four seasons and twenty-eight episodes, a small-town policewoman, Agnieszka Polkowska (Aleksandra Popławska), chases a vicious serial killer whose menace first falls on a country girl and then turns toward her own life. Her investigation draws on the fellow officers and personal ties around her, including Piotr Wolnicki (Maciej Stuhr) and Tomasz Mrówiec (Bartosz Gelner), whose loyalties and private lives complicate the hunt. Each season is a self-contained case built from interviews, forensic clues, and the tense logistics of a manhunt in provincial Poland. The format is serialized rather than case-of-the-week, so the pressure accumulates from one season to the next. The tone is grim and suspenseful, grounded in cold landscapes and an atmosphere of rural dread, with a focus on the personal price paid by a determined investigator. Fans of The Killing, Mare of Easttown and The Bridge will find a similar blend of procedural rigor, moral strain, and a relentless search for a predator.
