## Synopsis

Get Even (2020) is a British teen drama and mystery series created by Holly Phillips for BBC iPlayer. Across a single ten-episode season of roughly thirty-minute episodes, Kitty Wei (Kim Adis), Olivia Hayes (Jessica Alexander), Margot Rivers (Bethany Antonia) and Bree Deringer (Mia McKenna-Bruce) appear to have nothing in common, yet they are bound by one passion to expose injustice. Playing as a secret society called DGM, they stage anonymous pranks aimed at bullies and wrongdoers in their school, and each episode turns on the risk of being discovered. Emily Carey plays Mika Cavanagh, whose connection to the group deepens the drama. The series mixes playful schemes with a darker undercurrent of murder, so the mood shifts between cheeky and unsettling. Its school setting, friendships tested by secrecy, and the pull of a shared sense of justice give it a tense yet hopeful register. Fans of Pretty Little Liars, Riverdale and Skins will find resonance in its teenage secrets, group loyalty and mystery-driven school drama. The show was canceled after its first season, leaving its central story open.
