## Synopsis

Expedition X (2020-present) is an American cable reality series created for Discovery, following a team of investigators who travel from remote Cambodian jungles in search of a legendary ape-man to the vast cave systems of the United States. Principal cast members Phil Torres, Josh Gates, Jessica Chobot and Heather Amaro appear as themselves, combining field work with on-location interviews, equipment checks and the practical logistics of reaching hard-to-access places. The engine of each episode is a single question: whether an unexplained legend or strange phenomenon holds up when the team gets close to it, and what they can document along the way. Episodes are self-contained case-style expeditions rather than a continuing storyline, so viewers can dip in at any point. The show runs across twelve seasons and ninety-one episodes, keeping the balance between wonder and skepticism light and curious. Its tone is adventurous and breezy, with a sense of exploration that appeals to fans of paranormal investigation and mystery. Fans of Destination Truth, Ghost Adventures and In Search Of will find a similar appetite for the unknown here.
