## Synopsis

Mystic Pop-up Bar (2020) is a South Korean fantasy drama series created by Bae Hye-Soo for JTBC. At a mysterious late-night food cart run by an equally mysterious woman and her part-timer, customers arrive with heavy burdens and leave with comfort, guidance, and sometimes a second chance. Hwang Jung-eum plays Wol-joo, the enigmatic proprietor, alongside Yook Sung-jae as her part-timer Han Kang-bae, with Choi Won-young and Lee Jun-hyeok in supporting roles. The engine of each episode is simple and human: a patron struggles with regret, grief, or unfinished business, and the cart's staff reach into their dreams to help them face it. Because everyone is treated equally whether living or dead, the show gives every visitor the same dignity, and the encounters move between the bright comedy of drinking conversations and the quiet ache of loss. Adapted from a webtoon, this single-season, twelve-episode series builds a warm, melancholic atmosphere around its nightly gatherings. Fans of Hotel del Luna and Along with the Gods will find resonance in its blend of supernatural healing, gentle humor, and tender reflection on mortality.
