## Synopsis

Search (2020) is a South Korean survival thriller series created for OCN, a ten-episode, one-season run of sixty-minute episodes. Military dog handler Yong Dong-jin (Jang Dong-yoon) is only a month away from his discharge when he is seconded to a search party and pushed into the demilitarized zone, where monstrous creatures lurk. Lee Jun-seong (Lee Hyun-wook) and Shon Ye-rim (Krystal Jung) are among the members whose fragile trust becomes the group's real lifeline as they try to find a way out together. The engine of the show is simple and urgent: a band of soldiers and civilians must keep moving, keep their dog and their nerve intact, and decide whom they can trust while every ridge and ruin hides a new threat. Each episode is built around a search, a close encounter and a narrow escape, with the group's bonds deepening under strain. The atmosphere is tense and suspenseful, with moments of warmth and heartfelt loyalty cutting through the dread. Fans of Kingdom and The Strain will find resonance in its blend of creature horror, military grit and emotional survival drama. Its suspense is layered with human stakes rather than spectacle alone, which gives the thriller a grounded, personal pulse throughout.
