## Synopsis

The Triangle (2005) is a three-episode American science fiction miniseries created for Syfy. Shipping magnate Howard Thomas (Eric Stoltz) hires a team of specialists, including Emily Patterson (Catherine Bell) and Stan Lathem (Bruce Davison), to investigate why his ships vanished in the Bermuda Triangle. Each ninety-minute episode follows the team as they dig through evidence, interview witnesses, and chase the strange clues that link the disappearances together. The engine of the story is the growing realization that the cause of the losses threatens something far larger than the sea, a force that might unravel time itself and bring about the end of the world. Shaped as a single, self-contained arc rather than an open-ended run, the show moves through its mystery with brisk momentum and a tense, speculative atmosphere. Its look and mood lean on the moody uncertainty of the open ocean and the paranoia of a conspiracy closing in. Fans of Lost, The X-Files and Dark will find resonance in its blend of maritime mystery, expert team investigation and creeping apocalyptic dread, all delivered with the sleek early-2000s sci-fi polish of Syfy's original programming.
