## Synopsis

Halston (2021) is a American limited series created by Sharr White for Netflix. Ewan McGregor leads as fashion designer Halston, a real-life figure whose name built an empire and whose style defined an era. Rebecca Dayan plays Elsa Peretti, Krysta Rodriguez plays Liza Minnelli, and David Pittu plays Joe Eula, all orbiting the designer as his fame accelerates. The engine of the miniseries is the tension between a brand that keeps climbing and a private life that keeps coming apart, shown across five episodes of studio work, runway triumphs, and nightlife excess. Set in 1970s New York, the story moves through the glossy fashion world with a tone that is glamorous on the surface and melancholic underneath. Its themes of ambition, celebrity, and self-destruction give it the feel of a fashion industry biopic. Fans of Gucci House and Studio 54 will find resonance in its blend of period glamour and a troubled creative genius. The miniseries is a sober portrait of a designer whose public triumphs and private unraveling unfold in tandem.
