## Synopsis

So I'm a Spider, So What? (2021) is a Japanese animated isekai series produced by Millepensee and Crunchyroll and broadcast on AT-X, adapted from a light novel. Voice actors Aoi Yuki as Kumoko, Shun Horie as Shun, Nao Toyama as Katia, and Kaito Ishikawa as Hugo anchor a single 24-episode season of roughly 24-minute episodes. A former high school girl wakes up reincarnated as a spider monster, an ordinary human mind trapped in one of the weakest creatures of a fantasy world. She lives in a dungeon crawling with vicious monsters far stronger than she is, and her goal is simply to stay alive. Her engine is improvisation: she spins webs, lays traps, and relies on her human knowledge to outthink foes that outmatch her in size and power. Each episode plays as a labyrinth survival story, with fights, scavenging, and uneasy encounters as the dungeon's hierarchy gradually shifts around her. The tone blends cheerful optimism with real peril, creating a lighthearted yet tense viewing experience. Fans of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime and Dungeon Meshi will find resonance here, along with the monster-world energy of Re:Zero. The story remains open at the end of its only season, leaving the larger journey unresolved.
