## Synopsis

The Circle Brazil (2020) is a Brazilian reality competition series created for Netflix, a Portuguese-language adaptation of the format. Hosted and narrated by Giovanna Ewbank, a single season of twelve roughly fifty-minute episodes follows a group of online players who try to flirt, bond and catfish their way toward a R$300,000 prize. Contestants including Ana Carla, Gaybol, João Akel, JP Gadêlha, Paloma Lisboa and Rob Vulcan are never face to face in the usual sense, instead building rapport through a messaging platform, and the engine of each episode is the tension between genuine connection and calculated deception. Because players must decide who to trust and who might be hiding a fake profile, the show turns on social strategy, suspicion and small emotional reveals rather than physical challenges. Its tone is playful and breezy, with flirtatious chatter alternating with sly, competitive scheming. Fans of The Circle (American), Love Island and Big Brother will find resonance in its blend of romantic gamesmanship, online performance and cash-prize stakes, all packaged as easy, light entertainment for a streaming audience.
