## Synopsis

Kevin Can F**K Himself (2021-2022) is an American dark comedy series created by Valerie Armstrong for AMC. Annie Murphy plays Allison McRoberts, a woman trapped in a traditional sitcom marriage to the oblivious, self-absorbed Kevin McRoberts (Eric Petersen), whose laugh track and canned punchlines frame her daily life. The engine of the series is Allison's attempt to break free of her confines and take the lead in her own life, with her chafing against a domestic routine and a neighboring couple, Patty O'Connor (Mary Hollis Inboden) and Neil O'Connor (Alex Bonifer), whose own marriage offers no easy refuge. The show alternates between single-camera realism and multi-camera zaniness, so each episode shifts between the flat glare of a stage-set kitchen and the grounded textures of an ordinary house. Across two seasons of eight episodes each, the series keeps returning to the same question about what the world looks like through the eyes of the sitcom wife. The tone is bleak, sardonic and sharply observant, with moments of gallows humor that deepen into quiet resentment. Fans of Fleabag, Better Off Ted and Dead to Me will find resonance in its blend of sitcom satire and domestic darkness.
