## Synopsis

Devils (2020-2022) is an Italian-produced English-language financial thriller series created by Alessandro Sermoneta, Mario Ruggeri, Elena Bucaccio, Guido Maria Brera, Daniele Cesarano, Barbara Petronio and Ezio Abbate and broadcast on Sky Atlantic. Across two seasons and eighteen episodes, it follows Massimo Ruggero (Alessandro Borghi), a trader at a leading London bank, who is implicated in a deadly scandal and must fight to clear his name. Alongside him, Dominic Morgan (Patrick Dempsey) and Nina Morgan (Kasia Smutniak) move through a world of hedge funds and private negotiations, while Oliver Harris (Malachi Kirby) and Eleanor Bourg (Pia Mechler) complicate every alliance. Each episode tightens the pressure with boardroom meetings, trading floor gambits and quiet betrayals, as the search for the truth opens onto an intercontinental conspiracy run by powerful forces working in the shadows. The tone is cold, controlled and suspenseful, more about calculation than action. Set in contemporary London and beyond, the series is a serialized economic thriller with a glossy European sheen. Fans of Billions and Industry will find resonance in its portrait of finance as a battlefield of ambition and corruption.
