## Synopsis

Dragon's Dogma (2020) is a Japanese dark fantasy anime miniseries produced by Sublimation and released on Netflix, adapted from Capcom's action role-playing video game universe. Ethan, a protagonist driven by a single obsession, sets out to vanquish the Dragon that took his heart, and his quest is the engine of the seven-episode run. Voice performances by Yuichi Nakamura as Ethan and Takayuki Sugo as The Dragon anchor the story, while Nana Mizuki as Hannah and Miyuki Sawashiro as Olivia give the journey its companions. Each episode is built around a new demon or monster he must battle, and every fight pushes him further from the man he was. The series unfolds in a mythic fantasy world rendered in brutal, grim detail, with a bleak, melancholic atmosphere that stays heavy from start to finish. Its central concern is the cost of vengeance and the slow erosion of identity. Fans of Castlevania and Berserk will find kinship in its monster-haunted violence and tragic momentum, and viewers who enjoy grim, character-driven fantasy will find it a compact, unsettling watch with a single, unrelenting arc.
