## Synopsis

Noblesse (2020) is a Japanese anime series adapted from a Korean webtoon, produced by Production I.G and distributed by Crunchyroll, and aired on TOKYO MX. Rai, an ancient vampire-like noble who wakes after an 820-year slumber, starts a new life as a student at a high school founded by his loyal servant Frankenstein. His daily routine of classes and friendships with human students is repeatedly disrupted by mysterious attackers called the Unions, forcing him to fight to protect the people around him. Voice cast includes Akihisa Wakayama as Regis K. Landegre and Ai Kayano as Seira J. Loyard. The thirteen-episode season is a single continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week format, moving between quiet campus comedy and sudden bursts of brutal combat. Its tone blends playful, irreverent humor with dark supernatural menace and a sense of wistful loneliness beneath the heroics. Set in a modern-day Japanese city, the show is a compact supernatural action series in the spirit of Blood Blockade Battlefront and Hellsing Ultimate, appealing to viewers who enjoy shonen battles with a comedic school backdrop.
