## Synopsis

Alex Rider (2020-2024) is a British teen spy action series created by Guy Burt and produced for Prime Video, adapted in spirit from the young adult novels following a teenager's secret life in espionage. Otto Farrant plays Alex Rider, an ordinary schoolboy who is enlisted by MI6 and must use skills he never knew he had. Stephen Dillane plays intelligence chief Alan Blunt, who keeps pushing Alex into dangerous assignments, while Vicky McClure's Mrs. Jones runs the operation with a hard edge and Brenock O'Connor's Tom Harris provides a friend outside the spy world. The engine of the series is Alex's constant tension between a normal teenage life and missions that demand he lie, fight, and improvise under pressure, with each episode built around a new infiltration, chase, or confrontation with rival agents. Across three seasons of eight episodes each, the story moves as a serialized thread rather than standalone cases, letting alliances and betrayals accumulate. The mood is brisk and sleek, with a propulsive, action-forward energy tempered by the unease of a child caught in adult violence. Fans of Alias, Chuck and Spy Kids will find resonance in its blend of teen heroism and globe-trotting espionage. Its tone leans toward the adventurous, with moments of genuine danger that keep the stakes feeling real.
