## Synopsis

Sexify (2021-2023) is a Polish dramedy created by Piotr Domalewski, Kalina Alabrudzińska, Agata Gerc, Małgorzata Suwała and Jan Kwieciński for Netflix. Natalia Dumała (Aleksandra Skraba), a sexually inexperienced student, teams up with her close friends, including Monika Nowicka (Sandra Drzymalska) and Paulina (Maria Sobocińska), to build an innovative sex app that could win a tech competition. Their engine is the gap between their ambitions and their own nerves: every episode pushes them into awkward dates, clumsy experiments and uncomfortable conversations about bodies, desire and consent, while the competition provides a ticking clock. The series runs for two seasons of eight episodes each, forming one continuing story rather than standalone cases. Set in contemporary Poland, it sits in the tradition of frank young adult comedies, with a Sex Education and Girls sensibility. The tone is candid and playful, with warmth beneath the crude humor, and the friendships give the sexual comedy an emotional anchor. Fans of Sex Education and Girls will find resonance in its blend of frank humor, youthful insecurity and friendship under pressure.
