## Synopsis

Suspicion (2022) is a British crime thriller series created by Rob Williams for Apple TV. Four ordinary Britons, among them Natalie Thompson (Georgina Campbell) and Tara McAllister (Elizabeth Henstridge), find themselves accused of kidnapping the son of a prominent American media mogul. Their engine is desperation: they must uncover what really happened and prove their innocence before time runs out, while every step they take makes them look more guilty. Scott Anderson (Noah Emmerich) and Uma Thurman's Katherine Newman anchor the high-stakes power plays surrounding the case, while Kunal Nayyar's Aadesh Chopra adds a tense, unpredictable presence to the group. The eight-episode season unfolds as one continuing, serialized chase, each installment tightening the pressure with new doubts and reversals. Its atmosphere is taut and paranoid, pitched between clammy dread and breathless momentum, with a constant question hanging over every character: who can be trusted, and who is telling the truth? Fans of The Fugitive, Hostages and Line of Duty will find resonance in its blend of procedural pressure, moral ambiguity and a fugitive-style race to clear a name.
