## Synopsis

Combatants Will Be Dispatched! (2021) is a Japanese animated isekai comedy series created as a J.C.STAFF and Nippon Columbia production that aired on AT-X. Its single twelve-episode season follows Combatant Agent Six (voiced by Yusuke Shirai) and his android partner Alice Kisaragi (voiced by Miyu Tomita), two randomly assigned minions of the Kisaragi Corporation, which has set its sights on interstellar conquest. Their goal is to rise up the evil corporate ladder by taking over a magical world, but every assignment is complicated by a Demon Lord's army hatching its own nefarious scheme. Each episode is a brisk, self-contained mission of deadpan bureaucratic grind played against fantasy spectacle, with demonic rivals and corporate superiors adding bickering and absurd escalation. The tone is irreverent and breezy, mocking the conventions of villainy and the power fantasy of isekai while keeping the minions' everyday frustrations front and center. Fans of The Devil Is a Part-Timer!, KonoSuba and Gintama will find resonance in its parody of evil bureaucracy and its comic reversal of heroic fantasy tropes.
