## Synopsis

Special Ops (2020-2025) is an Indian national-television espionage thriller series created by Neeraj Pandey for Disney+ Hotstar. Kay Kay Menon plays Himmat Singh, a veteran officer of India's Research and Analysis Wing who notices similar patterns across a string of terrorist attacks and becomes convinced that one unseen person is orchestrating them. He assembles a task force of five agents living in different parts of the world, including Pakkhi Guptaa as Farah Qureshi, and the story follows their painstaking surveillance, infiltration and tracking across borders. Each episode is built from intelligence gathering, coded communications and operations that stretch across countries, while the team's personal lives strain under the secrecy. The show is inspired by nineteen years of nationally significant events, giving its procedural hunt a grounded, documentary-like weight. The tone is tense, sober and propulsive, with moments of moral unease and dread about how close the threat sits to ordinary life. Over two seasons and fifteen episodes, it stays serialized, with a mounting pursuit. Fans of 24, Tehran and gritty espionage dramas will find resonance in its procedural intensity and high-stakes global chase.
