## Synopsis

Bhaukaal (2020-2022) is an Indian Hindi-language crime action series created by Harman Baweja and released on Prime Video through MX Player. Mohit Raina plays Naveen Sikhera, a new senior superintendent of police who arrives in Muzaffarnagar, a town in Uttar Pradesh where lawlessness is the norm. The city is carved up between the Shaukeen gang in the east and the Dedha brothers in the west, and Naveen must push back against both while his own family and allies are drawn into the conflict. Abhimanyu Singh plays the gang leader Shaukeen, and Pradeep Nagar plays Pintu Dedha, the rival power whose clan contests every street. Rashmi Rajput appears as Puja Sikhera, and Firoz Khursheed Khan as Balram Yadav adds weight to the local power struggle. Each episode moves through raids, betrayals and standoffs in a dusty, hard-edged small city. The show runs two seasons of ten episodes each, a serialized crime saga with a tense, gritty register and a grounded sense of corruption. Viewers who enjoyed Mirzapur and Sacred Games will find resonance in its turf wars and police-versus-gang dynamics.
