## Synopsis

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy (2001-2007) is an American animated comedy series created by Maxwell Atoms for Cartoon Network. The Grim Reaper, voiced by Greg Eagles, is forced into the role of best friend to two mischievous children, Billy (Richard Steven Horvitz) and Mandy (Grey DeLisle), and spends most of his time trying to escape their schemes while still being dragged into their chaos. Their household companion Irwin (Vanessa Marshall) adds another layer of exasperation to the daily routine. Each eleven-minute episode is largely self-contained, built around a fresh prank, a bargain gone wrong, or a brush with the supernatural, so the show plays well in any order. Across seven seasons the series keeps a steady rhythm of slapstick, deadpan reactions, and gleeful macabre gags that treat death as an everyday nuisance rather than a source of dread. The tone stays breezy and irreverent, with a sweet undercurrent beneath the mayhem. Fans of Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed, Edd n Eddy, and The Addams Family will find similar mischief and dark humor. It is a spin-off of Grim & Evil and remains a light, family-friendly cartoon.
