## Synopsis

Suppose a Kid from the Last Dungeon Boonies Moved to a Starter Town? (2021) is a Japanese anime series created as a light novel adaptation and broadcast on AT-X. Lloyd, a novice adventurer, leaves his hometown, which sits right beside one of the most dangerous dungeons in the world, to chase his dream of finding true strength in the capital he has always admired. Voiced by Yumiri Hanamori as Lloyd, he is surrounded by a cast that includes Madoka Asahina as Seren, Miku Ito as Philo, and Ai Kayano as Mary, each drawn into his modest, earnest quest. The engine of the show is the gap between Lloyd's grand ambitions and the dismissive neighbors who consider him weak, with each episode built around small adventures, monsters, magic, and the friction of a young man proving himself. Told across a single twelve-episode season, the series moves at an easygoing pace with a shounen sensibility. Its setting is a fantasy world of towns, guilds, and dungeons rather than a specific historical era. The tone is lighthearted and comic yet sincere, with an underdog warmth. Fans of KonoSuba, Re:Zero, and Made in Abyss will find resonance in its fantasy adventure and comedic heart.
