## Synopsis

Call Center (2020) is a Russian national-television psychological thriller series created by Alexey Chupov and Natalya Merkulova, produced for TNT and Premier. Set in a modern Moscow high rise, the eight-episode limited series follows twelve workers at an online adult store's call center who discover a bomb in their office. Their captors, speaking through disguised voices who call themselves Dad and Mom, threaten to detonate it at any moment unless the hostages obey orders. Principal cast includes Vladimir Yaglych as Denis, Pavel Tabakov as Kirill, and Yuliya Khlynina as Katja, all trapped together in the confined office. The engine is simple and relentless: each instruction pushes the group toward humiliation or betrayal while a countdown ticks, and every episode tightens the screws as hidden personal histories surface between coworkers. The tone is tense, claustrophobic and bleakly unsettling, with paranoia and dread building inside a single room. Viewers drawn to hostage thrillers and survival puzzles in the vein of Saw and Hostages will find the same pressure cooker of captivity and sadistic control, delivered with a grounded, contemporary Russian sensibility.
