## Synopsis

Legacy (Emanet) (2020-2024) is a Turkish melodrama serial created for Kanal 7 and produced by Karamel Production. Businessman Yaman (Halil İbrahim Ceyhan) is emotionally shut off because of a traumatic childhood, and his only real attachment is his young nephew Yusuf (Berat Rüzgar Özkan). When Yusuf's mother dies suddenly, the beautiful and courageous Seher (Sıla Türkoğlu) moves into the family mansion to care for the boy, and her presence unsettles the household's balance of power. The engine of the show is the slow erosion of Yaman's defenses, carried by daily family confrontations, rival relatives, loyalty tests and romantic tension that builds over hundreds of episodes. Binnaz Ekren as Adalet and Ömer Gecü as Cenger anchor the wider household's alliances and grudges. The series spans four seasons and roughly 738 episodes in a serialized, continuing story where each stretch of the plot raises the emotional stakes. Its tone is melodramatic and sentimental, with wistful longing, domestic tension and moments of cathartic release. Its setting is a contemporary Turkish milieu centered on a single wealthy household. Fans of Dynasty, Kara Sevda and Pandora's Box will find resonance in its blend of family rivalry, class tension and sweeping romance.
