## Synopsis

Making the Cut (2020-2022) is an American fashion reality competition created for Prime Video, produced by SKR Productions and Amazon Studios. Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn host a field of aspiring designers who compete through weekly challenges and assignments that test not only their design skills but also their ability to run every part of a fashion business. Celebrity judges Naomi Campbell, Nicole Richie, Joseph Altuzarra, Chiara Ferragni and Jeremy Scott weigh in on collections, with contestants including Emily Bargeron, Curtis Cassell and Rafael Chaouiche among those competing across the series. Spanning three seasons and twenty-six episodes, the show follows a recognizable elimination structure, with each episode built around a design task, a deadline and a critique session. The engine is simple: designers must impress judges while managing production, budgets and client expectations under pressure. The atmosphere is glossy and brisk, combining the energy of a runway with the earnest coaching of a mentorship program. Viewers who enjoy Project Runway and Top Chef will find the same blend of craft, competition and polished critique here, along with a sharper focus on commerce.
