## Synopsis

Inhuman Resources (2020) is a French national-television corporate thriller miniseries created by Pierre Lemaitre for ARTE. Éric Cantona plays Alain Delambre, an unemployed fifty-seven-year-old lured by an attractive job opening that quickly reveals itself as a cruel corporate game. Suzanne Clément plays his wife Nicole, while Alex Lutz plays Alexandre Dorfmann, a figure whose interests tangle with Alain's at every turn. Alain's engine is simple and desperate: he needs the job, and every step toward it exposes him as a pawn in someone else's scheme. Across six hour-long episodes the story tightens steadily, built from interviews, power plays, and the quiet humiliations of a company that treats people as expendable. The mood is tense and bleak, with dread gathering around an ordinary man who has nothing left to lose. Fans of Severance and Mr. Robot will find resonance in its corporate paranoia and its portrait of an everyman squeezed by a ruthless system. It is a self-contained limited series that rewards close attention.
