## Synopsis

Valeria (2020-2025) is a Spanish Netflix romcom drama series created by María López Castaño, adapted from the novels of Elisabet Benavent. Diana Gómez plays Valeria, a writer whose marriage and creative life fall apart, and she leans on her three best friends, Silma López as Lola, Paula Malia as Carmen and Teresa Riott as Nerea, for refuge and blunt advice. Maxi Iglesias appears as Víctor, one of the men whose presence complicates her romantic choices. The engine of the show is practical and emotional: Valeria tries to reinvent herself while juggling deadlines, dating mishaps, flirtations and the tangled consequences of an extramarital affair. Each season is a run of short, chatty episodes built around the women's dinners, late nights and confessions, moving through a four-season arc of uneven but affectionate momentum. Set in contemporary Madrid, the show is candid about desire and infidelity, with a breezy, sincere tone that balances comedy and melancholy. Fans of Sex and the City, Girls and Insecure will find resonance in its portrait of female friendship as a steadying force amid romantic upheaval.
