## Synopsis

Disney Gallery / Star Wars: The Mandalorian (2020-2023) is a United States documentary series created by Jon Favreau for Disney+. Favreau himself hosts and appears as the central figure, inviting the cast and crew of the live-action Star Wars show The Mandalorian to discuss their work. Principal voices include the legacy effects supervisor John Rosengrant, performance artist Misty Rosas, who plays the character Kuiil, composer Ludwig Göransson, and director of photography Barry Idoine. The engine of the series is access: each short chapter opens a different corner of the production, from practical creature effects and costume work to set logistics and music, using interviews, never-before-seen footage and roundtable conversations. Rather than a narrative, the show is built as a collection of brief, self-contained chapters across three seasons and eleven episodes of roughly half an hour each, so it can be watched in any order. Its tone is warm, curious and respectful, with a sense of craftsmanship and camaraderie. Fans of Star Wars: The Making of the Trilogy and Chef's Table will find resonance in its close look at the people behind a beloved production.
