## Synopsis

Te Doy La Vida (2020) is a Mexican telenovela-style family drama created by María José Galleguillos for Las Estrellas, produced by Televisa. Across a single season of thirteen 45-minute episodes, a couple raises Nicolás, an adopted boy, until he is diagnosed with leukemia. The engine of the story is a race to save him: his adoptive parents, Elena Villaseñor (Eva Cedeño) and Pedro Garrido Salazar (José Ron), must confront the existence of the biological father, Ernesto Rioja (Jorge Salinas), whom Nicolás has never known. Each episode is built from hospital visits, family confrontations, hidden histories and the ties that bind households together under pressure. Erika Buenfil and Omar Fierro add layers of family rivalry and loyalty to the household drama. The setting is contemporary Mexico, rendered in the warm, domestic style of Latin American soap opera. The tone is emotional and sentimental, with heartfelt moments and high stakes for a child. Fans of Mi Corazón Es Tuyo, Pasión de Gavilanes and Rubí will find resonance in its melodramatic family secrets and sincere emotional pull.
