## Synopsis

Herederos por accidente is a Mexican comedy-drama series created by Sergio V. Santesteban and Angela Obon for Claro Video. Across two seasons and twenty-six half-hour episodes, it follows Lupita, a young woman expecting a child who will inherit a large fortune after the mysterious death of Don Jose. Her pregnancy turns the baby into the heir that a Spanish family and a Mexican family are both determined to claim. Each household pursues its own schemes, and every episode layers quarrels, cultural friction and sly manipulation between them. The engine is a tug of war over money and legitimacy, fueled by hidden pasts that threaten to surface at each turn. Its tone is breezy and farcical, with melodramatic touches borrowed from the telenovela tradition and a warm family-saga core that keeps the rivalry playful. Viewers who enjoy family sitcom chaos and classic telenovela comedy will find a familiar, easygoing pleasure here.
