## Synopsis

Percy Jackson and the Olympians (2023-present) is an American fantasy adventure series created by Rick Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg for Disney+ and Hulu. Walker Scobell plays Percy Jackson, a restless young teenager who learns he is the son of a Greek god and must journey across America with his loyal friends Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries) and Grover Underwood (Aryan Simhadri). Their engine is a race against time: they must outrun monsters and outwit the gods to return Zeus's stolen master bolt before an all-out war breaks out. Each season moves through a chain of mythological encounters, from creatures on the highway to stops at hidden refuges for demigod children, building toward a larger threat that is shaped by the characters' bonds. The show is an ongoing, family-friendly serialized adventure with brisk, playful episodes that balance humor, peril and a sincere coming-of-age heart. Its tone is breezy and hopeful, with a warmth about found family and belonging. Set in present-day America, it blends Greek myth with modern road-trip energy. Fans of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Xena: Warrior Princess will find resonance in its mix of ancient gods, young heroes and monster-filled quests.
