## Synopsis

Where Your Eyes Linger (2020) is a Korean boys love drama miniseries created by Hwang Da-seul and Shin Ji-an for W-STORY. Across eight short episodes of roughly fifteen minutes each, the story follows Han Tae-joo (Han Gi-chan), a playful chaebol heir whose diligent bodyguard Kang-gook (Jang Eui-soo) has been always by his side. Their long history of friendship, rooted in childhood and shared housemate life, slowly shifts into something more, complicated by the expectations of a wealthy family and a disapproving parent. Alongside them, Choi Hye-mi (Choi Yeon-cheong) and Kim Pil-hyun (Chun Jae-young) add a school-age web of crushes and loyalties. The engine of the show is the quiet tension between what the two boys feel and what their social world allows them to admit, playing out in everyday school days, home life, and small private moments. Its tone is gentle, wistful, and sincere, with a soft, hopeful pull toward the slow burn of its central romance. Fans of Heartstopper and Love, Victor will find resonance in its warm queer youth coming-of-age, while those drawn to Korean romantic storytelling will feel at home with its intimate, understated register.
