## Synopsis

Sweet Tooth (2021-2024) is an American post-apocalyptic fantasy drama series created by Jim Mickle for Netflix, adapted from the DC comic. Gus (Christian Convery), a lovable boy who is part human and part deer, searches for family and a place to belong alongside Tommy Jepperd (Nonso Anozie), a gruff former soldier who becomes his reluctant protector. Their journey across a world broken by a pandemic called The Sick and the collapse that followed is made of encounters with scavengers, hidden communities, and armed factions, each stop testing how far trust can stretch. Doctor Aditya Singh (Adeel Akhtar) and Becky (Stefania LaVie Owen) widen the circle of allies and enemies across three seasons of eight episodes each. The show balances brutal danger with warmth, carrying a storybook sense of wonder through a grim landscape. Its tone is hopeful and tender, with pandemic echoes handled lightly. Fans of The Last of Us, The Mandalorian and The Road will find resonance in its blend of quest structure, found family and bleak scenery softened by kindness.
