## Synopsis

Grand Army (2020) is a American teen drama series created by Katie Cappiello for Netflix. Set in present-day Brooklyn, New York, it follows five students at the largest public high school in the borough as they navigate a chaotic world of ambition, friendship, and pressure. The ensemble centers on Joey Del Marco (Odessa A'zion), Dominique Pierre (Odley Jean), Siddhartha Pakam (Amir Bageria), Jayson Jackson (Maliq Johnson), and Leila Kwan Zimmer (Amalia Yoo), each chasing a future they can call their own while battling the forces that threaten to hold them back. Their days are built from crowded hallways, dance and jazz rehearsals, tangled relationships, and the constant scramble to succeed and survive inside a sprawling public school. The series runs for one season of nine episodes, each about fifty-three minutes long. Its tone is frank, kinetic, and euphoric, mixing raw adolescent honesty with moments of exuberance and vulnerability. Fans of Euphoria and Degrassi: The Next Generation will find resonance in its portrait of teenagers who are loud, messy, and determined to be seen.
