## Synopsis

Train (2020) is a South Korean crime mystery series created for OCN, a Studio Dragon production that unfolds as a single twelve-episode run. Detective Seo Do-Won (Yoon Shi-yoon) chases the hidden truth after skeletons turn up on the tracks of a closed train station and one of the dead walks into a police station. The engine of the story is his pursuit of a serial killer across two versions of reality that split apart on the night of a murder twelve years earlier. Each episode peels back another layer of the parallel universe, moving between investigation rooms, hidden corridors and the memories that tie the two worlds together. Han Seo-Kyung (Gyeong Su-jin) and Dr. Seok Min-joon (Choi Seung-yoon) are among the principal characters whose choices shape how the divided worlds diverge. The show is a tense, moody Korean thriller with a melancholic, dread-filled tone and a focus on guilt and consequence. Its single season is a limited series with a contained story and a compact runtime. Viewers who enjoy the layered time-split puzzles of Dark and the serial killer procedural pacing of Mindhunter will find familiar pleasures here, along with the Korean thriller sensibility of Signal.
