## Synopsis

Mr. Wrong (Bay Yanlış, 2020) is a Turkish romantic comedy series created by Deniz Yorulmazer and produced by Gold Film for FOX. Can Yaman plays Özgür Atasoy, a very wealthy restaurant owner who lives a sloppy, happy-go-lucky life and insists he does not believe in love. Özge Gürel plays Ezgi İnal, a determined woman tired of failed relationships who wants a proper partner and marriage. When Özgür sees Ezgi struggling, he begins mentoring her with tactics for winning the man she likes, and the two discover they are neighbors, so their sparring unfolds in shared daily proximity. The engine of the show is the push and pull between his cynicism and her hope, with each episode built around a new romantic misstep and the advice that follows. Supporting principals including Gürgen Öz as Levent Yazman, Fatma Toptaş as Cansu Akman and Cemre Gümeli as Deniz Koparan orbit the central pair. Presented as a single season of fourteen episodes, it is a breezy, cozy contemporary romance with a playful, flirtatious register. Fans of Turkish dramedies, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Crazy Rich Asians will find resonance here.
