## Synopsis

Down to Earth with Zac Efron (2020-2022) is an American docuseries created for Netflix and produced by Ninjas Runnin' Wild Productions and The Nacelle Company. Actor Zac Efron travels the globe alongside wellness expert Darin Olien, who serves as his guide and foil, as the pair seek out healthy, sustainable ways of living. Each episode follows the duo into a new destination where they meet local practitioners, farmers, chefs and healers, trying unusual food, rituals and natural remedies while examining how people live in harmony with their environment. Guest appearances from figures such as chef José Andrés add variety to the journeys. Across two seasons of eight episodes each, the show stays light and curious rather than preachy, with a friendly, breezy energy and an emphasis on personal discovery. The show's engine is simple: each stop asks what a community can teach about eating, moving, and caring for the planet. Its warm, optimistic register suits viewers who enjoy celebrity-led travel and gentle wellness content. Fans of Parts Unknown, Ugly Delicious and Life Below Zero will find a similar blend of place, curiosity and host-driven exploration.
