## Synopsis

Wizards: Tales of Arcadia (2020) is an American animated fantasy adventure miniseries created by Guillermo del Toro for Netflix, a 3D animated spin-off of the Trollhunters world. Merlin's apprentice Douxie, voiced by Colin O'Donoghue, joins the Arcadia heroes, including Jim (Emile Hirsch) and Claire (Lexi Medrano), as they are pulled into a time-bending adventure. Merlin himself is voiced by David Bradley, and King Arthur appears through James Faulkner's voice, with Alfred Molina and Steven Yeun also featured. The story is a single ten-episode season built around a clash between human, troll and magical worlds in medieval Camelot, where the heroes must work out how past and present threads connect. Each episode pushes the quest forward with brisk action, playful banter and fantasy spectacle aimed at younger viewers. The tone is adventurous and lighthearted, with an undercurrent of wonder about myth and destiny. Its family-friendly, self-contained arc makes it an easy watch for fans of Trollhunters, The Legend of Korra and the Merlin legend, who will find the same blend of magic, monsters and heroic camaraderie. Rated TV-Y7, it suits children and families looking for an accessible fantasy quest.
