## Synopsis

Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021-2024) is an American animated science fiction series created by Dave Filoni for Disney+. It follows Clone Force 99, a squad of elite and experimental clone troopers led by Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Echo and the stowaway Omega (voiced by Michelle Ang), as they drift through a galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone Wars. Their engine is simple and urgent: they want a purpose in a world that has no further use for soldiers built for war, and every job they take, from smuggling runs to dangerous contracts, threatens to expose them to the Empire's hunters. Across three seasons of roughly fifteen to sixteen half-hour episodes, the show balances standalone missions with a slowly building serialized arc about who they are and where they belong. The tone is adventurous and wistful, with moments of camaraderie and melancholy about lost identity. Its polished 3D animation and sweeping space battles give it a cinematic scale. Fans of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels and Firefly will find resonance in its blend of action, found family warmth and post-war drift.
