## Synopsis

Mystery Lab (2020) is a Brazilian Portuguese-language science documentary series created by Felipe Castanhari for Netflix. Host Felipe Castanhari presents each short episode in a lighthearted, comedic style, joined by his lab companions, including the artificial intelligence sidekick B.R.I.G.G.S. voiced by Guilherme Briggs, and lab scientist Dra. Tay played by Lilian Regina, with building caretaker Betinho played by Bruno Miranda. The engine of the show is simple: a curious question about a famous mystery, a strange historical marvel, or a legend such as the Bermuda Triangle gets tested with hands-on experiments, props and quick visual demonstrations until the facts click into place. The series runs as a single eight-episode season of roughly 25-minute standalone installments, so viewers can dip in at any point. Its tone is playful, breezy and upbeat, with an educational heart that rewards family viewing and science-curious audiences. Fans of Bill Nye the Science Guy, Brainiac: Science Abuse and Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey will find a similar blend of wonder, whimsy and accessible explanation.
