## Synopsis

Missing: The Other Side (2020-2023) is a South Korean supernatural mystery series created by Min Yeon-hong for OCN and tvN, produced by Studio Dragon. Go Soo plays Kim Wook and Huh Joon-ho plays Jang Pan-suk, two principal figures drawn into a village where the spirits of missing and deceased people linger, and only certain living people can see and interact with them. Their engine is a search for the missing bodies and the truth behind their vanishings, as each episode peels back another layer of the community's buried history. Lee Jung-eun, An So-hee and Ha Jun round out the principal cast as the investigation widens. Across two seasons and twenty-six episodes, the series moves through a mix of procedural digging, eerie encounters with the dead and recurring side plots that sometimes pad the running time. Its tone is brooding and melancholic, with a steady undercurrent of grief for families left without answers and a social conscience about who gets forgotten. Shot with the atmospheric look of a rural Korean setting, it sits comfortably beside a Korean supernatural mystery tradition, and fans of Stranger, The Wailing and Kingdom will find familiar textures of dread and investigation here.
