## Synopsis

Bandish Bandits (2020-present) is an Indian Hindi-language musical drama series created by Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari for Prime Video. Classical vocalist Radhe (Ritwik Bhowmik) falls for pop singer Tamanna (Shreyaa Chaudhry), and the engine of the story is their attempt to keep their love alive while each is pulled away from their artistic identity. Radhe must compromise the purity of his classical training to fit a commercial world, while Tamanna, already a star, fights to protect her hard-won fame. Their musical rivalry and romance play out against demanding mentors and industry figures, with the classical traditions of Hindustani music set against the glossy machinery of pop. Naseeruddin Shah, Atul Kulkarni, and Sheeba Chaddha add weight to the supporting cast. The show runs across two seasons of episodes built around concerts, recording sessions, and personal confrontations, and it moves between tender romance and sharp professional stakes. Its tone is warm, sincere, and melodic, with emotional stakes that sit comfortably alongside its song-filled set pieces. Fans of Mozart in the Jungle and Nashville will find resonance in its portrait of artists negotiating passion and ambition.
