## Synopsis

The Idaten Deities Know Only Peace (2021) is a Japanese animated fantasy comedy series produced by MAPPA and Fuji Television Network, adapted from a manga. Eleven episodes of roughly 23 minutes follow Hayato, a member of the Idaten, the swift and powerful gods of battle, along with fellow deities Ysley, Paula and Rin, voiced by Romi Park, Megumi Ogata, Yui Horie and Akemi Okamura. Their engine is simple and absurd: a generation that has never fought must suddenly rethink what it means to be divine after the demons sealed away eight centuries earlier stir once again. Each episode is built from armed maneuvering, rival factions, political scheming and intrigue, with every group willing to use any means available. The tone blends irreverent humor with brisk action sequences and a deadpan sense that ancient legends have grown comfortable and soft. Its shape is a single short season that plays as one continuing battle story rather than standalone episodes. Viewers who enjoy Konosuba, The Seven Deadly Sins and Record of Ragnarok will find resonance in its mix of divine mythology, rowdy adventure and comedic irreverence. The series carries a mature rating for violence and language, and its bright modern-anime energy sits alongside a mythic world of gods and demons.
