## Synopsis

A Love To Remember (2014-2016) is a Mexican telenovela created by Leonardo Abreu and Alberto Gómez for Azteca Trece. Ulises Santander (Héctor Soberón) and Olvido Pérezová (Melissa Barrera) anchor a romance that begins when an architect survives a plane crash in the forest and is taken home by a young woman who decides to care for him. Daniel Elbittar plays Diego Rivas, and Cecilia Ponce plays Irán Hernández Molina de Rivas, while Rafael Sánchez Navarro plays Armando Balmaceda, a figure whose presence sharpens the tensions between the two families. The engine of the series is the pull between love and social divides, with every episode built from misunderstandings, family rivalries and the obstacles that keep the couple apart. Shaped as a single 136-episode run, it unfolds as one continuing serialized story rather than separate cases. Set in present-day Acapulco and Mexico City, it gives its melodrama a sun-warmed coastal setting. Its tone is sentimental and romantic, with heightened emotion and sweeping gestures typical of the form. Fans of Marimar, Rubí and Pasión de Gavilanes will find resonance in its class-crossing romance and soap opera pacing.
