## Synopsis

La CQ (2012-2014) is a Mexican and Venezuelan family comedy series made for Cartoon Network Latin America, created by Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo. Set among a group of secondary school classmates, the show follows an ensemble of eight students, including Angel (Emiliano Flores), Clara (Alejandra Müller), Monche (Harold Azuara), and Jenny Pinto (Fernanda Urdapilleta), as they live through the everyday ups and downs of adolescence. Each episode is built from ordinary school material: assignments that pile up, crushes that flicker and fade, and bullies who make the hallways harder to walk through. Because the cast shares the spotlight rather than funneling stories through one lead, the series reads as a rotating set of small dilemmas rather than a single arc. Its four seasons run roughly 25 episodes each, with episodes of about 22 minutes that are simple to follow and easy to drop into at any point. The tone stays light, warm and breezy, with a relatable sense of youthful awkwardness that viewers will recognize from classic school comedies. Fans of Degrassi: The Next Generation, Zack & Cody Tonight and Ugly Betty will find a similar blend of teen friendship, romance and classroom comedy, aimed squarely at younger viewers and families.
