## Synopsis

Dragon Raja -The Blazing Dawn- (2022-2025) is a Chinese animated dark fantasy donghua series created for Tencent Video, adapted from a web novel. Across two seasons and forty episodes it follows the ordinary youth Lu Mingfei (voiced by Jinwen Chen) and his brother Lu Mingze (voiced by Xiangning Zhou), who receive an unexpected admission letter to Cassell College. Their calm lives are shattered when a public rescue turns them into heroes, and Lu Mingfei's decision to take the hidden path draws them into a legendary struggle against the dragon race. Friends such as Chen Motong 'NoNo' (voiced by He Wenxiao) and Cesar Gattuso (voiced by Yun Wei Yi) share the burden of training, rivalry and danger. The engine of the story is a young man's wish to protect the people he loves while learning what the powers hidden inside him demand. Episodes mix classroom life with large battle set pieces, building a serialized fantasy mythology. The tone is earnest and tense, with a melancholic undertow and a sense of destiny. Fans of Mo Dao Zu Shi and Battle Through the Heavens will find resonance in its mythic scale and dark fantasy atmosphere, and the series suits viewers who like school-set adventure with a serious edge.
